I went with some friends to see Taken last night. I was very impressed.

Taken may now be one of my all-time favorite movies. The action was thrilling, reasonably realistic, and purposeful. That was probably one of my favorite parts, the fact that he had a legitimate purpose in going and killing handfulls of people. He didn’t slaughter people for greed, money, or fame—he was trying to save his daughter. I loved that.

Liam Neeson was great, I really felt like he was a pissed off dad who would stop at nothing to get his daughter back. He wasn’t cocky or spunky, he was determined, and that’s what made me love his role.

I don’t want to give anything away. So go see the movie!
