Flu and the Ending of a Long College Career
Wednesday, November 11th, 2009Well it seems that my wife has the Flu. They didn’t run any conclusive tests but they told her at the Health Clinic that she has the Flu, possibly the Swine Flu. I’m really not worried because the Swine Flu isn’t that much worse (if at all) than the regular Vanilla flavored Flu, just more fattening.
I’m excited to say that I’m almost done with College! I’ve got about 3 weeks until the end of the present semester, and next semester I have only 2 classes left! So at this point it’s entirely possible that I’ll have significantly more free time starting in the beginning of December. I don’t know why you’re not pumped—because I am!
I feel reasonably confident of my abilities as a Designer. I am not exactly poised to revolutionize the world of Graphic Communication, but I’ve noticed that I flourish when given a real life scenario much more so than a classroom scenario. So I think that when I get out there and get some real clients (possibly next month!) I’ll find myself doing much better work than I am now. I intend to keep growing. I intend to get better.
While revolutionizing things isn’t my goal, I do intend to rock the boat as much as I can.
I intend to think outside the jail-cell.
