An Alabama Turkey Day

Friday, November 28th, 2008
I’m now on my way back and (appropriately) thoroughly stuffed from a Thanksgiving holiday spent in AL with Lorrie’s family. It’s been a very long 3 days without Internet of any kind; indeed (I love that word), the only Internet Lorrie’s uncle Scott had was from an AT&T wireless card in his laptop. The same card emmitted an endless stream of speaker interference. The Holiday was fun though. I expected to be bored and out of place the entire time but her family was very welcoming to me and I had a very nice time. The food wasn’t quite the same, but I’ve come to realize that no one will ever be able to equal my family when it comes to Thanksgiving food. If you somehow stumble accross this Dianne I apologize but simply no one can prepare a feast like the Fowlers. I took a bunch of film pictures while I was there which I’ll have to put up here once I get them graded and returned to me (they’re for a photo 1 class). They should be some pretty good shots of a life style that’s very foreign to me but still very pretty and exciting.
